Trading Platform overview
Our iPhone trading platform has been designed to make your trading experience as simple as possible.
Find a market
Our most popular markets are listed on the main 'Markets' tab from the bottom navigation. You will find quick links to the markets that we offer broken down by type of market for example, indices, shares, foreign exchange etc. You can browse through these markets by tapping 'GROUPS' on the markets screen and then scrolling down.
If you cannot find the market that you want, you can use our Search facility. To open the search screen tap the magnifying glass icon next to the GROUPS button.Making a trade and closing a trade

Making a trade
Tap anywhere in the row of your selected market in order to open the trade ticket. A market with a padlock means that this market has closed – please refer to the Market Information for details of market hours.
From the Trade Ticket you are able to adjust your stake if you wish, you can do this 3 ways:
Then decide if you wish to Buy or Sell. Live prices will continue to update until you click the 'Buy' or 'Sell' button.

At the same time as placing your trade you can set levels for your Stop and Limit Orders if you wish.
Stop losses* are automatically allocated to every open trade, but you can specify the level yourself at the time of opening a trade.
When your trade has been accepted you will get a second on screen confirmation plus confirmation by email. If you notice any discrepancies or are not sure whether your trade has been accepted , please contact us immediately by telephone.
*Stop losses are not guaranteed so are subject to slippage.

Open Positions
You can view your open positions by tapping 'Positions' on the bottom navigation. This includes the market, direction of trade (buy or sell), stake and P&L. From here you are also able to view your closed positions by tapping 'Closed Positions'.
Closing a trade
If you decide to close your trade, you can do this by tapping on the 'Positions' button on the bottom navigation to view your open positions. On this screen you will see a down arrow button on the right hand side on each market.
If you tap this arrow, you will only be given one option, either a Buy or a Sell depending on the direction of your original trade. For example, if you had a sell position you would need to buy to close so only the 'Buy' button will appear.

Partially closing an open position
If you decide you want to lower your initial stake and partially close a position you can do this by either finding the original product that you traded and adjusting the stake size (which will be less than your original stake) and then making a trade in the opposite direction.
Or from the 'Positions' screen, tap the green arrow to open the trade ticket for the market you want to partially close, adjust your stake size (which will be less than your original stake) and then make a trade in the opposite direction.
Close and reverse an open position
If you decide you want to change the direction of an open position by closing it and reversing in just one trade you can do this by finding the original product that you traded, adjusting the stake size (which will be more than your original stake) and then make a trade in the opposite direction.
Cherry picking which trade you want to close
If you have opened more than one individual trade in the same contract, the total stake and P&L will be shown. For example, if you bought £1 per point on the FTSE Rolling at 5050 and then bought another £1 per point at 5100, your open position would show a buy of £2 per point.
Each open position has a "+" symbol next to it, which will reveal each individual trade if you have a position with multiple individual trades (as explained in the paragraph above). This allows you to close your trades in any order you want.
Tap to trade
Tap to trade enables you to trade with just one click. Tap on the Tap to trade icon.
The 'Buy' and 'Sell' button for each market will appear on the market list itself. Once this feature is enabled, as soon as your click 'Buy' or 'Sell' you trade will be processed. You will not be asked to confirm your trade again. You are advised to only enable this mode if you are an expert user.
The stake will default to the minimum stake for the market, a swipe/drag gesture over the row for the market will adjust the stake if you wish. Tap the 'Tap to trade' icon again to turn this feature off.
Market Information
To view the market information for a particular market, either swipe to the left on your chosen market, or turn your iPhone on its side, either way 3 buttons will appear to the right of the market row – tap the 'i' button. The Market Information screen will appear. To close this screen tap 'ok'.
You can also select the Market Information button on the trade ticket.
Add products to "My Portfolio"
Once you have located a market, you are able to add it to your portfolio by either turning the phone on its side or by swiping to the left on the market you want to add. Either way 3 boxes will appear in the market row (these are Open Chart, Market information and Add to Portfolio). Tap the right hand box with the '+' symbol to add this market to your Portfolio.
You can also tap '+ Portfolio' on the trade ticket of the corresponding market you would like to add to your Portfolio. To access My Portfolio you need to click on the button in the bottom right-hand corner of the platform.
